Summary
To better organize your online tests, our platform allows you to rename and assign them to different categories.
Testportal supports two languages, English and Polish.
You can add your organization's logo to your Testportal account. It will then be visible to respondents whenever they take your online tests.
How to rename the online test?
Do you need to change the name of your test? No problem. Here's a simple guide on how you can do it.
Test title
Your test title should be useful and informative to both respondents and yourself. It allows you to organize all the assessments stored on your account easily. You will appreciate this when you have created many remote tests.
To edit the test name, follow these steps:
Go to the My tests menu and select the test you want to rename by clicking it.
Go to the Basic settings.
There, the first editable field is the test name.
Make all necessary changes. Confirm them by clicking the green Save button at the bottom of the page.
Your test has a new name now.
Changing the test name is quick and easy
Remember: you can only change the test name when it has a Setup in progress status. You can’t edit Active or Ended tests. In those cases, you can create a copy of the test (using the Duplicate option) and then edit it.
How to create test categories on Testportal?
Testportal offers a variety of features to help you effortlessly create and manage your online tests. One of these is the ability to create test categories, which can be useful for organizing and filtering your assessments.
Online test categorization
Here are the steps you can follow to use test categories on Testportal:
Click the Create test button to create a new category or assign an existing category to a new test.
Access the selected online test on the My tests screen to edit its category. In the Basic settings tab, you'll see the Initial settings section, where you can find "Category".
Click the Create category button to enter a new category name or use the drop-down menu to select one of the previously created categories.
Your online test is now assigned to that category.
How to select test language?
Testportal is currently available in two language versions: English and Polish. You can easily change the language by navigating to the Basic settings, and selecting an option from the Test language drop-down menu in the "Initial settings" section.
If you require other languages to create and conduct your online quizzes, test and exams, contact our Customer Success team by using the contact form or email support@testportal.net.
How to add the organization’s logo to online tests?
If you use our Business plan, EDU School or EDU University, you can add your organization’s logo to your account. It will become a default logo, visible when your respondents take their tests, as well as on all printouts, certificates, your subdomain page (if configured), and pages in the presentation mode. You can also choose to add your logo only to selected tests.
What should the dimensions of the logo be?
You will see the recommended dimensions in a Logo upload window every time you select Add my logo. Adjust the dimensions of your logo to the guidelines to ensure that it always looks clean and nice on your online tests.
Setting the logo for a selected test:
In the My tests menu, click the test for which you want to add a new logo.
Select the Basic settings tab.
Scroll down to the Logo section.
Click Add my logo.
Use the Select option.
Read the information about recommended dimensions. In the same window, use Browse to choose the file from your computer.
Click the Upload button.
Finish by clicking the Save button to confirm changes.
This is how you can add your logo to a selected online test
If you want your logo to appear on all your online tests, rather than add logos to each test individually, you can do that by following these steps:
How to set the logo for your Testportal account:
In the app's main menu, select My account.
Next, click the Logo tab.
Select Add my logo.
Click the Select option.
Read the information about recommended dimensions. In the same window, click the Browse button to choose a file from your computer.
Click the Upload button.

If your Testportal subscription allows it, you can add your logo to your account and all tests
Can I hide the logo?
It is also possible to deactivate the logo for your account and selected tests. If you prefer this option, navigate to the Logo section in the My account menu or choose a test in My tests.
Then go to the Basic settings. In both cases, all you need to do is to select the Hide logo. You can also use the Testportal trademark, which is the default option.
